FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to production of foamed aluminium plates. It can be used in machine building, civil and industrial construction, aircraft engineering and ship building. Foamed aluminium plates produced by cold rolling of aluminium powder alloys with porophore into strip billet and foaming are assembled sequentially butted. Powder interlayer from the mix of aluminium granules with particle size of at least 200 mcm, porophore in amount exceeding by 50% that of porophore in the mixed intended for producing sheet biller. Assembled plates are locked to prevent relative displacements and joint is heated at the rate of 150-300 °C/min to foam said powder interlayer.
EFFECT: higher strength and quality of joints.
