FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: suspension contains gypsum plaster, fly ash of class C, magnesium oxide, emulsion of siloxane and water. Method for manufacturing of water resistant gypsum items includes preparation of emulsion from siloxane and water, mixing magnesium oxide and fly ash of class C with gypsum plaster, combination of siloxane emulsion and mixture of gypsum plaster and catalyst, shaping of suspension, its soaking until setting to produce a core of wall board, siloxane polymerisation. Water-resistant gypsum panel, core of which consists of interpenetrating matrices of calcium sulfate dihydrate crystals and silicone resin, where there is a catalyst containing magnesium oxide and components of fly ash of class C distributed inside specified interpenetrating matrices.

EFFECT: improved water resistance, faster polymerisation of siloxane.
