FIELD: building construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to gypsum panels with reduced mass and density, with improved heat-insulation properties. Gypsum middle layer for the panel, formed from a mixture, containing: a gypsum plaster in an amount of about 1,162 pounds/sq. m. feet (about 5.7 kg/m3) to about 1,565 pounds per thousand. sq. m. feet (about 7.6 kg/m3); vermiculite particles with a high expansion factor in an amount of up to about 10 % of the construction gypsum weight, the bulk expansion of which is about 300 % or more relative to their initial volume after heating for about one hour at a temperature of about 1,560 °F (approximately 850 °C); starch in an amount of up to 3 % of the building gypsum weight; mineral fibers, carbon fibers and/or fiberglass, the gypsum core layer being between the liner sheets having a density of about 40 pounds per cubic foot (about 640 kg/m3) or less, thermal insulation index of about 20 minutes or more.

EFFECT: technical effect: the production of gypsum boards with reduced mass and density, with improved heat-insulation properties, resistance to heat shrinkage and fire resistance.
