FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: solution contains (a) one or more reducing agents in amount of more than 1.0 wt % and less than 30 wt %, selected from ascorbic acid and sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate, (b) one or more metal salts selected from a group comprising copper salts, cobalt salts, iron salts, vanadium salts, lithium salts and magnesium salts, (c) one or more oxygen-containing solvents, (d) optionally one or more stabilisers and (e) optionally water. The invention also describes a method of hardening unsaturated polyester or acrylate resin in the presence of the accelerator solution.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain accelerator solutions which provide high rate of hardening of peroxide esters and acrylates.
