FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises source of power, water reservoir, electrolytic cell, depots of hydrogen and oxygen. Electrolytic cell is connected to heat pump on the basis of return thermodynamic cycle. Hydrogen produced in process of electrolysis is sent to depot of hydrogen, and oxygen - to oxygen depot. Heat, which is both contained in water reservoir and released in process of electrolysis, is taken by heat pump and sent to heat accumulator for use by consumer as heating or hot water supply, or is sent for storage in heat accumulator. As power source, nuclear and thermonuclear power engineering is used, as well as alternative natural power sources - hydraulic power engineering, wind power engineering, solar power engineering, geothermal power engineering, power engineering of recoverable bioresources of Earth.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of hydrogen and oxygen production from water on the basis of power source, which does not use hydrocarbons, by application of additional heat pump.
