FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device is arranged in the form of waterproof wall, which protects water receiving window against the main watercourse. Waterproof wall represents a dihedral surface with single rib, which is shaped in plan as a broken line consisting of two links that form a linear angle of dihedral angle between each other. One end of broken line is connected to coastal edge of the main watercourse upstream relative to water receiving window, and the second end stays free, to form narrow channel with coastal edge of the main watercourse downstream relative to water receiving window. At the same time upstream face of waterproof wall forms a blunt angle of less than 180° in plan with upstream coastal edge, and in downstream face of waterproof wall there is one or more through holes with systems of jet-forming nozzles. Jet-forming heads are connected with distributing headers provided inside waterproof wall. Through holes are arranged opposite to water receiving window, besides jet-forming nozzles of through holes are arranged at the side of the main watercourse and are directed towards the main watercourse. At the same time waterproof wall faces main watercourse by its dihedral angle.

EFFECT: significantly simplified layout of water intake, improved reliability of its operation and efficient protection of young fish against ingress into water intake.
