HIGH-VOLTAGE DC SWITCH Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC H01H21/02

Abstract RU 2404474 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: high-voltage DC switch comprises the following components: electroinsulating body, cover, fixed spring contact, movable spring contact, mechanism of connection-disconnection. A cathode tube made of glass or metal ceramics having cooling fins on the outside is installed on body, and air is pumped away from its internal cavity. The following components are installed inside cathode tube: cathode, anode, plate of refractory metal and two diverging plates. Electric circuit of cathode tube control includes switch, DC source connected to diverging plates, parallel to which signal light is connected, and resistor is connected serially to it. Mechanism of connection-disconnection comprises insulating shaft, where fixed blade contact is installed, being connected by flexible wire to anode of cathode tube, and handle, where electric cathode tube control circuit is fixed, movable part of which is cinematically connected to geared fixator installed in lower part of handle. Fixator cogs interact with geared sector fixed on side surface of body cover.

EFFECT: longer service life, improved safety, saving of non-ferrous metals and simplified design.
