FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the equipment for application of anti-corrosive protective coating on cartridge case surface. Unit includes a drive of the horizontal shaft containing in-line arranged drums interlinked with screws. Every drum consists of two parts divided by transverse perforated wall with the transmission window arranged at its periphery. Inside every part of the drums there are corresponding baffles. Working surface of the baffles in cross section is formed by parts of concentric circles with connection of adjacent circles by straight sections. Cavity formed by the working surface of the baffle of the first part of the drums in cross section is made diverging from the loading window to the transmission window in the direction opposite to the direction of drum rotation. Cavity formed by the working surface of the baffle of the second part of the drums in cross section is made converging from the transfer window to the unloading window in the direction opposite to the direction of drum rotation. Ratio of total lengths of working surfaces of the baffles of both parts of all the drums against each other is equal to ratio of the time of corresponding technological operations taking place in these drums.

EFFECT: invention enables a seamless process including several process operations with different time modes, as well as reduction of lengthwise dimensions of the unit which reduces specific amount of metal per structure and energy consumption for application of protective coatings.
