FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: water treatment involves successively passing water through a mineral filling containing a schungite-3 layer, a layer of calcareous rock, a layer of haydite, a layer of silicon-containing mineral rock, wherein water is fed through the mineral filling from bottom up. The calcareous rock in separate layers used is dolomite and glauconite and the silicon-containing mineral rock used is marshalite. All minerals have a equidimensional grain-size composition with grain size of not more than 5 mm and dimension range of the granules in margin range of not more than 1 mm. The device has a loop: a dismountable structure with cartridges containing the layers of mineral filling listed above: schungite-3, dolomite, glauconite, haydite, marshalite lying in series from the input of the loop to its output. The input and output of each cartridge is covered by a membrane. The formed structure is placed in a dismountable housing. Minerals used in the filling are thermally treated at 200°C for one hour in a medium of dry air.
EFFECT: obtaining efficiently purified drinking water with given properties, saturated with useful macro- and microelements.
