FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: estimation of clinical effectiveness of neoadjuvant chemotherapy of bladder cancer is ensured by urine sampling from the bladder filled for 3 hours to determine the urine UBC marker level at the primary diagnosis stage and 1 month after preoperative chemotherapy. If observing the UBC level decreasing by 30% and more from the initial value, a partial regress of tumour is detected, while the UBC level reduced or increased to 29 % shows the stabilisation process, and the UBC level increasing by 30 % and more from the initial value enables to detect progression of the tumour process.
EFFECT: use of the method ensures more efficient estimation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy of bladder cancer.
