SCREW WITH CUMULATIVE EFFECT Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B63H1/16 B63H5/14

Abstract RU 2405713 C2

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as propulsion units of whatever water transport facility. Proposed screw comprises lines of vanes separated and fixed by shell rings. Said screw represents a cone with its apex being a screw hub. Shell rings and vanes represent concave elements. Concave vanes are directed in lines to the side of rotation. Note here that the number of vane lines, that of vanes in a line and vane angle of attack, angular, liner and radial sizes of the screw and its elements are subject to output power and rpm of the screw. Cumulative screw aerodynamics is identical to its hydrodynamics.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced cavitation and noise.
