FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: active layer is applied to nickel bottom layer by single submersion of bottom layer into the solution containing Na2S in quantity of 10-20 g/l and H2SO4 in quantity corresponding to pH=3-5 at temperature of 20-30°C during 8-21 hours.
EFFECT: simplifying the manufacturing method of electrode, avoiding the use of deficient cobalt and nickel salts, providing satisfactory strength of active layer at maintaining high electrochemical activity of electrode.
