SUBSTANCE: method and device of electric energy generation at gas and steam power plant includes the use of gas for gasification that is produced from oxygen carriers and oxygen-containing gas; where oxygen carriers are gasified with oxygen or rich oxygen-containing gas in melting gasification zone; thus the obtained gas for gasification is supplied through desulfuration zone where desulfuration agent is contained; the consumable desulfuration agent is loaded into melting gasification zone and is removed after liquid slag formation; after purification and cooling desulfurised gas for gasification is burned in combustion chamber with pure oxygen; received gaseous combustion products, H2O and CO2, are supplied to gas turbine for electric energy generation; in desulfuration zone there additionally is used iron ore that is together with consumable desulfuration agent is loaded into melting gasification zone, melted and removed.
EFFECT: invention helps to reduce hazardous substances output and increase the contents of carbon dioxide in waste gas.
