FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of chemistry. To obtain gas, which contains hydrogen and carbon monoxide, source of discharged gas from metallurgical processes is connected with pipeline with converter 7, for, at least part of discharged gas to be subjected to CO conversion with addition of water steam with formation of raw material synthesis gas. In addition, source of discharged gas is connected through pipeline with steam generator 10, for the next part of discharged gas to be at least partially burned in steam generator 10 with formation of water steam. Formed water steam through line of steam 9a is brought to converter 7. For intermediate storage of part of discharged gas before its burning in steam generator 10 provided is reservoir 22, to compensate fluctuations of quantity and/or burning heat in discharged gas.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to utilise discharged gas and apply it as raw material for processes of chemical synthesis.
