FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: when adjusting the work vehicle of a harvesting machine with the help of a detector an image or series of images are created of the flow of harvested mass behind the device in the way of picked mass transportation under various settings with certain quantities of adjustment of controlled parametres of the working unit. Images or series of images are recorded with reference to them the values of adjustment of controlled parametres of the corresponding setting mode. Then based on analysis of the flow of harvested mass represented in images or series of images, an image or series of images is selected. Finally, using the selected image or series of images the adjustments of controlled parametres related to them are set at the appropriate operating unit.
EFFECT: invention provides a simple and reliable adjustment of working vehicles of a harvesting machine with optimal adaptation to the specific process of harvesting.
