FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the method to assess content of unwanted particles in grain harvested mass. The first step of the method is to take a photograph of the overall picture of the harvested mass. Then on the photographed overall picture they identify images of at least one type of unwanted particles. Then the area is measured, which is occupied with the image of each detected particle in the overall picture. The content of unwanted particles is established proportionately to the area of the detected images. Identification on the photographed overall picture is carried out on the basis of at least one controlled parameter with an additional step - the user-selected value of the parameter is accepted. The computer for realisation of the method is connected to a camera, at the same time it is programmable.
EFFECT: invention provides for a method to determine quality of grain harvested mass, which is free of influence of overall background, which makes it possible for producers to reliabily observe the desired quality of harvested mass without unneeded losses of commodity weight due to excessively strict adjustment of a harvesting machine.
