FIELD: medical technics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves division of carrier gas flow into two flows and directing them along two lines, first of which passes forth to mixing with the second separated flow, which has passed along the second line through evaporator and anesthetic layer and was saturated with anesthetic fumes. The two flows are united and mixed in a mixing chamber before they are supplied to a user. Concentration is sustained due to cyclical shutting the second line and simultaneous admission of separated carrier gas flow through the first line for a definite constant time interval. Then the first line is shut and simultaneously the separated carrier gas flow is let through the second line for another definite constant time interval. Then the separation cycle is repeated for multiple times. Concentration adjustment is performed by changing ratio of time intervals during which the first and second lines are opened and/or shut. An anesthetic dosage device is described.
EFFECT: accuracy of anesthetic dosage.
