FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in oil-and-gas and chemical industries. Prior to feeding into absorber 2, hydrocarbon gas is breathed through separator 1 and absorbent is fed therein. Solution of ferrous iron is fed from tank 5 in pipeline 4 to make said absorbent after ammonium solution is added into flow of said absorbent from tank 6. Engagement occurs in uniflow absorber 2 that represents vertical hollow pipe furnished with two branch pipes made up of bottom and top bends. Limiting time of engagement of absorber with hydrocarbon gas makes 20 minutes and that of hydrocarbon gas with absorber does not exceed 2 seconds.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of purification.
