FIELD: materials handling equipment; belt elevators.

SUBSTANCE: proposed belt elevator for lump loads has endless flexible pull-and-carry loop closed in vertical plane on drive and tension drums, housing consisting of front, rear and side walls, charge and discharge branch pipes. Pull-and-carry loop consists of flexible rubberized belt with carrying members secured to belt at equal pitch. Said member are made in form of shelves cantilever mounted on belt at angle to belt. Stiffening ribs are provided from non-working side of shelf. Vertical runs of belt with fitted-on shelves are arranged at minimum clearances with walls of housing, and load on shelves is arranged with possibility of interaction with side walls of housing.

EFFECT: simplified design of elevator, increased capacity of elevator, provision of transportation of large-size loads at reliable discharge in zone of drive drum.
