SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and glase compositions for depositing on ceramic tiles, bricks and maiolica articles. The mixture for making brown-coloured glase contains the following components, wt %: spent calcined SVD catalyst 77-80; calcium oxide CaO 8-10; iron oxide Fe2O3 - 10-15. The spent calcined SVD catalyst has the following composition, wt %: SiO2 - 73.81, V2O5 - 8.33, Al2O3 - 5.95, K2O -11.91.
EFFECT: low cost of glase and recycling of sulphuric acid production wastes.
