SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, radiology, and can be used for differential diagnostics of metastatic affection of liver in case of lung and large intestine cancer. Said result is obtained by the following: computer-tomographic examination of liver is performed, value of topic coefficient (K) is calculated for each section by formula: , where H is distance from the centre of metastatic fous to diaphragm surface of liver, h is distance from the centre of metastatic fous to visceral surface of liver, in case if there are 2-3 sections, arithmetical mean value K is calculated for all section of affection; and if coefficient value is K<1.0, foci of metastatic affection from lung cancer are diagnosed, if value of coefficient K>1.0, metastatic affection from large intestine cancer is diagnosed.

EFFECT: increase of diagnostics accuracy.
