FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to oncology and can be used for carrying out differential diagnostics between giant non-organ retroperitoneal tumours and tumours originating from ovaries and uterus. Essence of method lies in computer tomographic examination of organs of abdominal cavity and small pelvis, during which angle of inclination of longitudinal axis of uterus body with respect to longitudinal axis of vagina is determined. After that promontorium-tumour coefficient (K) is calculated by formula: K = Lp/L0, where: Lp is distance from pubis to promontoriun, Lo is the largest size of tumour in sagittal projection. If K ≤ 1.0 and angle of uterus body inclination less than 90 degrees, tumour originating from retroperitoneal space is determined. If K ≤ 1.0 and angle of uterus body inclination more than 90 degrees, tumour originating from ovaries is determined. If K > 1.0 and any value of angle of uterus body inclination tumour which in isolated manner occupies abdominal cavity or small pelvis, is determined.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to plan therapeutic tactics on tumour removal by means of claimed differential diagnostics.
