FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: ink cartridge includes jacket, area of ink feed arranged on front surface of jacket, movable part arranged so that it may move relative to jacket and at least one elastic part attached to back surface of jacket and movable part. At least one elastic part is configured for stretching in stretching direction and compression in compression direction, in order to move movable part relative to jacket, at the same time form of jacket in directions of compression and stretching remains invariable. The whole movable part is configured so that it could move substantially relative to jacket, when at least one elastic part stretches and compresses.

EFFECT: invention provides for protection of cartridge against damages as a result of its accidental collision with any surface, and also makes it possible to quickly extract the cartridge from recording device.
