FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of continuous fibre from basalt stock. Proposed device comprises feeder including electrically heated spinneret plate with spinnerets at device bottom with preset wall thickness. Note here that spinneret wall is made from bimetal. Note also that heat conductance of wall bimetal material on spinneret inner surface is 2.0-2.5 times higher than that on outer surface. Note also that said electrically heated spinneret plate is convex on basalt melt side while on spinneret side it is flat. Mind that convex surface features cycloid profile as the line of fastest transition of basalt melt from convex surface top point to bottom point.
EFFECT: temperature uniformity over spinneret plate surface.
