FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: processing agent is applied on surface of sheet. Per 100 wt shares the processing agent contains one or more phosphates of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, aluminium and barium, from 40 to 67 wt shares of colloid silica and from 2 to 50 wt shares of phosphoric acid. The agent has pH from 1 to 4 and summary contents of a solid phase from 15 to 35. The agent is dried and successively baked till there is formed an insulation film on surface not containing chromium. As basic ingredients film contains colloidal silica and one or more phosphates of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, aluminium and barium and magnesium phosphate uniformly dispersed along total surface.
EFFECT: steel possesses improved magnetic properties, while formed insulation film possesses high tensile strength, adhesion and resistance to corrosion.
