SUBSTANCE: blade of packer of track tamping machine consists of hard alloy element secured on lower part of blade and enveloping its lower edge, front and back surfaces. Hard alloy element has V-shape with angle between front and second surfaces of the blade equal to 25-45 degrees.
EFFECT: raised efficiency, reliability and increased resource of packer operation.
