DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR CLINICAL COURSE OF REPERFUSION SYNDROME FOLLOWING STAGED CAROTID SURGERY IN PATIENTS WITH SEMEIOTIC BICAROTID STENOSES Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2408020 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: clinical and instrumental examination is combined with the blood serum analysis for the products of lipid peroxidation ("ИРПП", "ИРВП", "ИРКП", "ГРПП", "ГРВП", "ГРКП"), ascorbate-induced lipid peroxidation ("АОА-1", "АОА-2"), as well as the content of biologically active substances - serotonin, nitrites and nitrates on the 4-7th, 8-14th and 15-21st day following the second carotid reconstruction. The increasing values as referred to a norm over a certain period of time are observed to diagnose favourable and unfavourable course of reperfusion syndrome.

EFFECT: use of the method allows increasing considerably diagnostic reliability of clinical course of reperfusion syndrome following staged carotid management in the patients with semeiotic bicarotid stenoses.
