FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: when scanning space with a radar station, a two-dimensional angular packet of detected signals is formed from the detected object, where the said packet of detected signals contains angular coordinates of beam positions in which the object was detected, and amplitude of the detected signals. Based on the information contained in the two-dimensional angular packet of the detected signals, angular coordinates of the detected object are obtained after a single calculation.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring angular coordinates of an object with variable parametres of the radar station during the scanning process.
