FIELD: the proposed inventions refer to the field of radiolocation and may be used for identification of radar objects on the value of the average effective surface of scattering and also in all-round looking radars where there is a firm time balance of sounding.
SUBSTANCE: the achieved technical result of the proposed mode and the arrangement is identification of the types of radar object on the value of the average effective surface of scattering in the all-round looking radar with using single sounding impulses in each angular direction and also increase of possibility of correct identification. The indicated result is achieved due to the fact that for identification of objects they execute accumulation and averaging-out of the transformed amplitudes of the impulses received and correspondingly transformed in the process of tracking. The distinctive feature of the proposed mode and the arrangement for identification of objects is increasing in the process of tracking number of accumulated impulses used for identification and independence of the results of identification from the form of the diagram of radiation pattern of the antenna.
