FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: multi-channel audio signal (in particular, stereophonic audio signal) is processed to change multiplication (loudness) of signal of voice component relative to signal of surrounding component (for instance, reflected sound) or signals of other components. Method for processing of audio signal consists in production of multi-channel audio signal including signal of voice component and signal of other component, definition of mutual correlation between two channels of audio signal, definition of spatial arrangement of voice component signal with application of mutual correlation and value of multiplication to control level of each channel of audio signal, identification of voice component signal on the basis of spatial arrangement of voice component signal, variation of voice component signal by means of application of multiplication to signal of voice component and generation of changed audio signal, including varied signal of voice component.
EFFECT: improved quality of dialogues relative to environment and signals of other components.
