FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, to apparatuses for therapeutic exercises and is designed for rehabilitation of patients with ankle injures, as well as for extended range of motions and stimulation of related muscles and ligaments after immobilisation removal and shin surgeries with hardware and compression-distraction apparatuses involved. An ankle mobility working out and muscle and ligament stimulation apparatus comprises a round base. Besides, the apparatus comprises a foot rest with foot attachment. Between the base and foot rest, there is a vertical strut with a hemispherical slot comprising a ball in its top. The hemispherical slot is placed in a tubular body deviating and rotatable round a vertical axis of the strut by an opening form at the bottom of the body. On an outer face of the tubular body, there is an annular lip whereon a full-circle foot rest is bolted on. A circle comprises a shaped washer coupled through a spring with a nut screwed in the top of the body. A rubber bellow is put on the tubular body below the annular lip.
EFFECT: invention provides high-level mobility of the foot rest, graduated load and simulated ankle muscles and ligaments due to muscle force of a healthy foot.
