SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and aims at disinfection and sterilisation of medical devices. A method and a related kit for implementing the method for preparing an antimicrobial composition, comprising a reagent containing an acetyl group source, includes a measured amount of 1-acetyl-5,5-dimethyldantoin and/or 3-acetyl-5,5-dimethyldantoin, and the reagent containing a hydrogen peroxide source includes a measured amount of hydrogen peroxide and/or at least one substance forming hydrogen peroxide after dissolved in water at temperature 10 to 30°C and pH 6.0 to 7.5.
EFFECT: invention allows higher yield, extended choice of aggregate state of the reagent being used, and the prepared antimicrobial composition practically does not contain acetic acid and does not damage processed devices.
