FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and namely to ophthalmology, and can be used as an anaesthesia care in extended ophthalmic surgeries or in impossible endotracheal narcosis of the patients suffering a severe accompanying pathology. That is ensured by needle stick-in through skin of an upper eyelid in a projection of frontal incisure in a superonasal region. Then the needle is moved further tangentially to the eyeball. An anaesthetic is introduced in subcutaneous fat between optic canal and superior orbital fissure in amount 2-3 ml.
EFFECT: method allows fast and long-term anaesthetic effect simultaneously with reduced dosage of the anaesthetic due to its delivery to the basic motor and sensory nerve trunks of the eyeball.
