SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery, and can be used during regional anesthesia for ophthalmic surgery. Local anesthetic is injected into the projection of the infraorbital foramen through oral access, followed by a point massage over the injection site for 10 seconds. Projection of the dial on the eye socket is visually carried out with the location of 12 hours above the notch of the upper edge of the eye socket. When intervening on the right eye socket, head is turned for 90 degrees in the direction of 9 o'clock. With the operation on the left – in the direction of 3 hours with an exposure of this position for 2 minutes. After that, the head is returned to original position thereof. Then, putting a roller under the shoulder blades, the head is thrown back in the direction of 12 hours with the exposure of this position for 2 minutes. Roller is removed and the head is returned to original position thereof.

EFFECT: method provides effective infraorbital anesthesia by maximizing the spread of local anesthetic and achieving its superior ocular gap, in the region of which the first branch of the trigeminal nerve, the motor nerves of the eye muscles and the veins of the eye are located.
