FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to production of composite materials containing intermetallic compounds A1. Metal that forms intermetallic compounds with aluminium and comprises iron, titanium, niobium, zirconium, nickel and ruthenium, is used to produce hollow blank. Bore is made in said blank for aluminium to be poured therein and discharged therefrom. Blank space is filled with aluminium at pressure and sealed thereafter. Said blank is treated in gasostatic extruder at up to 200 MPa and temperature exceeding aluminium melting point but not exceeding blank metal hot flowage temperature, and subjected to hot flowage.
EFFECT: improved plastic properties, simplified process and widened range of suitable materials.
