FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises forming the workpiece consisting of the main metal and aluminium, hot pressing of billet in gas static device and thermal processing. Workpiece is formed by arranged aluminium inserts in cavities of the main metal selected from Fe, Ni, Ti, Nb, Zr, Ru, while hot pressing is carried out in liquid-phase interaction between main metal and aluminium with formation of intermetallic aluminide-based compound. In compliance with second version, workpiece is formed by joint coiling of equal-width sheets from main metal selected from selected from Fe, Ni, Ti, Nb, Zr, Ru, while hot pressing is carried out in liquid-phase interaction between main metal and aluminium with formation of intermetallic aluminide-based compound.
EFFECT: easy process due to use of aluminium inserts arranged in cavities of main metal that forms intermetallic aluminide-based compound.
