FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: valve with rod of cylinder shape, head of disk shape and section of smooth transition between them is manufactured by procedure of granule metallurgy of heat proof material on base of titanium or its inter-metallides. Material consists of spherical granules of matrix and of strengthening or plastic additive, and also, of nano-dimension thermo-strengthening powder additive out of granules of matrix thermodynamic stable and resistant to material and to strengthening or plastic additive in form of oxides, carbides, nitrides or borides of metals and/or non-metals taken at a specified ratio. A blank of the valve of spherical granules is compacted and is subjected to thermal and deformation treatment under modes chosen depending on phase composition of material of matrix and additives.
EFFECT: long-term operability of valves of internal combustion engines in wide range of working temperatures.
