FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: production of alloys based on intermetallic compounds. A method for producing alloys based on intermetallic compounds, including pressing compositions of powder of the initial raw materials, subsequent heating and holding at a given temperature for a time corresponding to formation of the alloy. Before pressing, the raw material composition is obtained by mixing Ti and/or Hf hydride powder, or Er hydride powder with a particle size of no more than 50 mcm and Al powder with a particle size of no more than 50 mcm for at least 30 minutes. The resulting raw composite powder is pressed, and, after pressing, annealing is carried out in vacuum at a residual air pressure of 10-2 Pa at a temperature of 650-1200°C followed by holding for at least 3-6 hours at a residual air pressure of less than 10-3 Pa.
EFFECT: resulting alloys based on intermetallic compounds have high mechanical properties.
