FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: certain volume of fluid mass containing powder is preliminary mixed with spherical granules. Produced mixture is placed in a mould. There is moulded a work piece of specified height by pressure and/or vibration. The fluid mass is strengthened and spherical granules are removed. Porous system is formed in their place and produced porous material is strengthened. Volume of fluid mass is preliminary determined by moulding a work piece of specified height by pressure and/or vibration in the mould with an upper and lower dies; also, there are used spherical granules and liquid not interacting with material of spherical granules.
EFFECT: production of material of high porosity with specified shape and dimension of pores.
