SUBSTANCE: there proposed is method and device for its implementation, which provide inertia-free limitation and companding of acoustic broadcast signals without enrichment of their spectrum at considerable increase of relative average power by means of operation of analogue-to-digital conversion of input signal of acoustic broadcasting to numerical order, separation of input digital signal into LF and HF constituent parts, independent processing of LF and HF constituent parts in the appropriate processing channels, operation of integration of processed LF and HF constituent parts of output signal and common signal and operation of ideal limitation of combined signal prior to digital-to-analogue conversion.

EFFECT: decreasing modulation distortions at controlling real multi-component broadband signal.
