FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler comprises casing 2 accommodating at least one nozzle 3, heat-activated starting element 5 and protective element 8 located ahead of nozzle 3 in protecting position to mechanically protect starting element 5 when sprinkler is in inactive mode. Note here that protective element 8 can move into second position whereat nozzles 3 and starting element 5 are not protective by element 8. Sprinkler casing 2 moves between two position relative to fastening casing 1: first position whereat sprinkler is in inactive mode and second position whereat sprinkler casing extends ouside. Note here that sprinkler casing 2 is driven by medium pressure to move relative to fastening casing 1 from first position into second position, and to apply force to protective element 8 to move it from protecting position into second position for sprinkler to stays in second position of sprinkler casing, i.e. position of readiness.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
