FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly sprinklers.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler has bearing body, at least one nozzle, heat-sensitive sprinkler actuation means and closure fixed in front of nozzle when closure is installed in its protective position to provide mechanical protection of sprinkler actuation means when sprinkler is brought in its inactive position. Closure may be displaced in opened position in which closure releases nozzle to bring sprinkler actuation means in opened position and to provide spraying of fire-extinguishing substance through nozzle in active sprinkler position. Bearing body comprises inlet for feeding fire-extinguishing substance. Sprinkler also has means to be displaced relative bearing body. Fluid medium acts upon above means to displace thereof relative body and to act upon lock for lock opening. As a result, closure is displaced in opened position to open sprinkler actuation means and to transfer sprinkler in standby mode. In standby mode sprinkler actuation means are not damaged and may respond to heat to actuate sprinkler and to transfer sprinkler in active mode.
EFFECT: simplified structure, providing of inactive sprinkler mode.
