FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for finishing of surfaces by means of energy of ultrasonic oscillations. Proposed device contains flexible member featuring high inertial capacity, additional stop member, pressing nut and shaped cover plate with springy insulating element secured on end face of magnetostrictive converter for complete internal reflection of energy of ultrasonic radiator and movable bushing mating with acoustic system. Spring is arranged between pressing nut and shaped cover plate. Flexible member of high inertial capacity is located at side of magnetostrictive converter opposite to spring between housing and movable bushing, and stop members are installed in housing from side of concentrator. Invention provides possibility of machining different surfaces owing to adjustment of force pressing ultrasonic radiator to surface under machining. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
