FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: insulating joint comprises metal pads, electroinsulating bushes, inserts, joint gasket, side pad. Inserts are formed by means of magnetic dielectric material pouring into deepening on pad. Metal elements, reinforcing shunting effect of magnetic dielectric material, are made of electric steel with thickness sufficient to form a layer of magnetic dielectric material on its external surface in case of full submersion of element into the deepening. Pouring is carried out aflush with surface of pad. Side pad has perforation and is made of glass plastic. Side gasket consists of lower and upper parts, between which there is a gap. Perforation is filled with magnetic dielectric material. Joint pad is made of flaky glass plastic with limit of compression strength of at least 300 MPa. There is a contour rim on end surface of joint pad, made of magnetic dielectric elastomer with thickness providing for permanent contact with magnetic dielectric material of insert.

EFFECT: increased strength and rigidity of insulating joint, simplified design and technology of insert manufacturing, increased shunting of magnetic field of joint between rails by closure of magnetic flow through elements of connector.
