FIELD: construction, road.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to track structure namely to structures of insulated rail joints. Insulated rail joint contains metal pads with inserts in recesses from rail side. Metal pads are located on each side of rail and tied up by means of fasteners located in electrically-insulating sleeve. Recess geometrical sizes and volume are identical to geometrical sizes and volume of clearance between rail and pad in recess area. Metal pad and insert are joined into monolith via filling the clearance between pad and insert with magnetodielectric material. Butt ends and faced to rail surfaces of metal pad and insert are covered with magnetodielectric material. Insert is made of soft magnetic material which initial permeability is more than 200 units. Magnetodielectric material has permeability exceeding that of rail, metal pad and insert materials. Connected butt ends of metal pad and insert and faced to rail surfaces of metal pad and insert are made corrugated to provide high adhesion strength for engagement of metal pad and insert with magnetodielectric material.
EFFECT: increase of reliability for rail distribution system operation and lowering of labor input for insulating joint mounting.
