FIELD: railway construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway track structure, namely, to insulating rail joints. Insulating joint includes located between the ends of rails 1 butt gasket 5 made on the basis of fibre of polyamide materials, metal pads 2 with inserts 8, thermally fixed with side gaskets 3, made reinforced, with an interference coating based on impregnating epoxy compounds, and covering metal pads 2, tightened into a monolith with rail 1 by means of fasteners. Inserts 8 are made of polyamide with bending strength of at least 70 MPa. As a fastener, bolt 4 is used with a rod consisting of an upper cylinder with a diameter of not less than 28.3 mm, not more than 29.5 mm and a lower cylinder with a thread, which is installed in the hole of bushing 9 made of polyamide, with bending strength of not less than 70 MPa, length of 68 mm, outer diameter of 35 mm and inner hole made for cone with diameter in narrow part from 27.5 to 27.8 mm, and in wide part from 28 to 29 mm.

EFFECT: higher reliability of insulating joint.
