SUBSTANCE: system enables modification of a pictogram which corresponds to an application window based on modifications in the application window. The pictogram can be modified in real time. The system includes a desktop window manager (DWM), which registers the initial window and the target window and/or can refresh or modify the pictogram associated with the initial window. The system includes a display for displaying a taskbar with a taskbar button corresponding to the pictogram, a display for displaying the initial window, a manager for registering the pictogram, a processor and memory.
EFFECT: more convenient program access for manipulating window pictograms.
