FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: pressure is measured by external artery compression. Systolic C1, C2 and diastolic D1, D2 pressures are recorded in two points. It is followed with calculating arithmetical mean pressures and , pulse pressure divided by 2 - Pp1 and Pp2. Table correction factor of the arithmetic mean values ΔPtabl, as well as Pp1 and Pp2 - ΔPPtabl are derived. To determine the one-point systolic and diastolic pressures, arithmetic mean and pulse pressure divided by 2 is measured in the other point with considering the related correction factors which are added or subtracted respectively. The calculation is maintained by original formulae.

EFFECT: more precise determination of blood pressure.
