FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises discharge barrel to feed melted metal jet and gas distributing assembly to feed inert gas. Discharge barrel is mounted with circular clearance with respect to inner section of refractory tube whereto gas is fed. Refractory tube is made from mullite-siliceous elastic material and arranged above the channel that receives melted metal. Said refractory tube accommodates carcass combustible shell, while binding wire is arrange outside said tube.
EFFECT: ruling out of tube burning-though by metal sparges.
