FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to cast iron compositions to be used for production of parts intended for thermal plants or furnaces operated in thermocycling conditions. Proposed iron contains, in wt %: carbon - 2.7-3.3; silicon 1.0-1.3; manganese - 0.4-0.6; molybdenum - 0.2-0.4; vanadium - 0.8-1.2; aluminium - 0.8-1.2; hafnium - 0.3-0.4; boron - 0.01-0.015; iron making the rest.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance.
